My experience as a lawyer, judge and administrator drafting rules, regulations and statutes and testifying as a legal expert before the legislature and my conservative republican philosophy qualify me to sit as a District Court Judge.  I believe that our judges must follow and not rewrite the law.  When the law grants a judge discretion, the judge should apply common sense and consider not just the needs of the person accused of a crime but the harm to the victim(s) and the community as well.   When elected, I will honor my oath to uphold the Constitution.
